Diecelis Escano, Esq. is the managing attorney at Escano Law. Since 2007, Ms. Escano has zealously
represented clients before the Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), United States Court of Appeals, and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Ms. Escano spent the first 10 years of her legal career practicing immigration law in New York City, New Jersey, and the Washington, D.C. area, where she handled complex asylum and criminal immigration deportation cases. Ms. Escano currently operates her own immigration practice in Providence, RI, however she continues to represent clients nationwide.
Born in the Dominican Republic, Ms. Escano immigrated to the United States at the age of eight as a lawful permanent resident. In 1991, she became a naturalized U.S. citizen. Her personal and legal background has played an instrumental role in her ability to identify with her clients' immigration experience and specific needs.

Jascary Martinez is an Immigration Paralegal at Escano Law. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Jascary immigrated to the United States at the age of 11 years old, which fueled her passion for immigration law. With three years of experience as an immigration paralegal prior to her role at Escano Law, she brings expertise, knowledge, and dedication to her work. Jascary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science from Roger Williams University and is committed to advancing her legal career with the ultimate goal of becoming an attorney.
Domenica is a Legal Assistant at Escano Law. She was born in Quito, Ecuador and is fluent in Spanish. She holds a law degree from Universidad Hemisferios and is extremely passionate about helping others and making a meaningful impact on clients' lives. Currently, Domenica is responsible for assisting the managing attorney in all immigration matters, including Asylum, Family Petitions, Waivers, VAWA Petitions, Naturalization applications, and Removal Defense.
Ana Marroquin serves as the Executive Assistant and Social Media Manager at Escano Law. Originally from Guatemala and fluent in Spanish, she coordinates social media content and provides key support to the Managing Attorney and Legal Receptionist. Ana holds a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Universidad Europea del Atlántico in Spain. With family members who have navigated the immigration process, Ana brings a deep sense of empathy and understanding to clients.
Elizabeth Toro is the Legal Receptionist at Escano Law. Known for her warm professionalism and dedication, she welcomes clients, assists with inquiries, and ensures smooth communication between clients and all staff members by managing phone calls, emails, and appointments. In addition to distributing mail and scheduling meetings, Elizabeth is always ready to answer client questions. She is a Notary Public in the state of Rhode Island with the hopes of completing her studies in criminal justice in the near future.
